SAAFLA is raising funds to help microchip every dog in South Central. Get your Street Dog cred!
In conjunction with the Street Dogs of South Central documentary makers and Downtown Dog Rescue, we want to help solve the stray dog problem in South Central as portrayed in the documentary Street Dogs of South Central, recently seen on Animal Planet and at screenings around the country. The purpose of this campaign is to raise money for microchips that regularly cost $25. LAAS has coordinated a FREE spay/neuter & vaccination program run by DDR taking place on 4/21, 5/19, 6/16 and 7/21 at the "Yo" Watts Recreational Center. People will have the opportunity to have their pets vaccinated & fixed for free and licensed for a nominal fee of $20. However, to include a microchip would cost another $25, money that most low income families can't afford to pay. Buy Tickets today for the upcoming fundraiser and movie screening! |
